BetterSocials, Buffer and Sendible lead 10 social media tools that publish their prices in 2026, each with an entry plan under $100 a month for one login.

Ten social media tools here put an entry price under $100 a month on a public page. If comments and DMs bring in your customers, BetterSocials is our pick. All three of its plans sit on one page with both billing periods, from $29 a month for four accounts to $99 a month for 12 accounts and unlimited teammates.
Every competitor price here is what the vendor's own page listed in October 2026. Buffer is cheaper if you only post, at $5 a channel billed yearly. Sendible fits a team that wants unlimited users, from $30 a month billed yearly.
We placed all 10 in a band by the entry plan for one login: free, under $50 or under $100 a month.
Three price bands, one pick
Every plan BetterSocials sells stays under $100 monthly. The other nine run from per-channel and flat plans to per-seat plans, so the real question is what changes as you add accounts and logins.
The band is the entry plan for one login. A yearly figure is the monthly rate on annual billing.
| Tool | Entry plan | Band | Users |
|---|---|---|---|
| BetterSocials | Creator, $29/mo or $24 yearly, 4 accounts | Under fifty dollars | One, unlimited on Team |
| Buffer | Essentials, $6/channel/mo or $5 yearly | Under fifty dollars | One, unlimited on Team |
| Sendible | Core, $35/mo or $30 yearly, 6 profiles | Under fifty dollars | Unlimited on every plan |
| SocialBee | Bootstrap, $29/mo or 16% off yearly, 5 profiles | Under fifty dollars | One, three per workspace on Pro |
| Metricool | Free, 1 brand | Free | Owner only, unlimited on Advanced |
| SocialPilot | Essentials, $30/mo or $25.50 yearly | Under fifty dollars | One, unlimited on Ultimate |
| Later | Starter, $25/mo or $18.75 yearly | Under fifty dollars | One, two on Growth |
| Agorapulse | Standard, $99/user/mo or $79 yearly | Under a hundred dollars | Paid per user |
| Sprout Social | Essentials, $99/seat/mo or $79 yearly | Under a hundred dollars | Paid per seat |
| Hootsuite | Standard, $99/user/mo, billed yearly | Under a hundred dollars | Paid per user |
What counted as a published price
All 10 tools, BetterSocials included, show an entry price on a public page. Full pricing, as we use it, means four things you can read without a sales call: a price for every plan, the monthly and the yearly figure, the account limit and the seat rule.
A seat is a login you pay for, and the seat rule says how many come with a plan.
BetterSocials: every plan under $100 a month
BetterSocials is best for local businesses, creators and small agencies whose comments and DMs bring in customers. It's an AI social media manager that posts everywhere and answers comments and DMs from one inbox, in the owner's voice.
Creator is $29 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, for four social accounts and one login. Pro is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for six accounts and one login. Team is $99 a month, or $79 billed yearly, for 12 accounts and unlimited teammates.
Contacts and keyword automations are unlimited on every plan, and nothing is billed per contact. A keyword automation is where a word in a comment triggers a reply with your link. AI writing runs on monthly credits, 1,000 on Creator, and when they run out the AI pauses instead of charging more. Where it stops: there's no free plan, a second login means the Team plan, and X and email inboxes aren't channels.
Buffer: under $50 a month for a handful of channels
Buffer is best for posting to a few channels on the lowest bill. Essentials is $6 a channel a month, or $5 billed yearly, with one user. Team is $12 a channel a month, or $10 billed yearly, with unlimited team members.
At four channels Buffer comes to 4 x $5 = $20 a month billed yearly, against $24 for BetterSocials Creator. Buffer's inbox covers comments only. That extra $4 buys DMs in the same inbox, AI replies in your voice and keyword comment-to-DM. Every figure is on Buffer's pricing page.
Sendible: unlimited users under $50 a month
If every teammate needs a login, Sendible includes unlimited users on every plan. Core is $35 a month, or $30 billed yearly, with one workspace that holds six social profiles. The Sendible pricing page is titled "Unlimited Users, Zero Per-Seat Taxes".
Core includes an inbox for mentions, comments and messages. At six accounts, Sendible Core is cheaper than BetterSocials Pro, $30 against $39 billed yearly, and Pro's extra $9 buys AI replies in your voice and keyword comment-to-DM with unlimited contacts.
SocialBee: five profiles under $50 a month
Solo owners who want a set price for five to 25 profiles should look at SocialBee. Bootstrap costs $29 monthly for five profiles and one user, and Accelerate is $49 for 10 profiles. Pro is $99 a month for 25 profiles, three users per workspace and five workspaces, and every plan costs 16% less billed yearly.
Each SocialBee plan starts with a 14-day free trial. At the same price, Bootstrap gives you one more profile than BetterSocials Creator. SocialBee's inbox takes comments and DMs from Facebook Pages and Instagram Business, and comments from YouTube, Threads and LinkedIn Company pages.
Metricool: free for one brand
Metricool starts free and suits analytics across several brands. It prices by brand, meaning one business and its social networks, and the free plan covers one brand and 20 scheduled posts a month.
Starter is listed at $20 a month for up to five brands and $36 for up to 10. Advanced is $53 a month billed yearly, or $67 monthly, for up to 15 brands, with unlimited team members. Only the Custom tier sends you to sales, with a "Contact us" button and no price.
SocialPilot: one login under $50, unlimited users higher up
Agencies that hand their clients a login, called a client seat, fit SocialPilot best. Essentials is $30 a month, or $25.50 billed yearly, for one user. Ultimate is $200 a month, or $170 billed yearly, with unlimited users.
SocialPilot prints the seat rule on every plan. Standard includes three users and Premium six, each extra user on either costs $5 a month, and client seats are unlimited from Premium. The social inbox starts on Standard.
Later: Instagram-first planning under $50 a month
For Instagram-first planning on a small budget, Later's Starter plan is $25 a month, or $18.75 billed yearly, for one user with no extra users. Growth is $37.50 a month billed yearly, includes two users and adds $5 a month for each user after that.
Later's Conversations inbox starts on Growth and has no YouTube or LinkedIn conversations.
Agorapulse: an inbox on every plan, under $100 a user
Teams that want an inbox on every plan end up looking at Agorapulse. Standard is $99 per user a month, or $79 billed yearly, with 10 social profiles per user. An extra profile costs $15 a month on monthly billing, or $10 on yearly.
Agorapulse ticks its inbox for comments, DMs and reviews on all four plans, and Standard comes with a 30-day trial. Each login is billed, so two people on Standard pay 2 x $79 = $158 a month billed yearly.
Sprout Social: under $100 a seat, inbox one tier up
Sprout Social charges by the seat, which suits marketing departments that budget the same way. Essentials is $99 per seat a month, or $79 billed yearly. Standard, where Sprout Social puts its inbox, is $199 per seat a month, billed yearly.
Two people on Standard pay 2 x $199 = $398 a month, billed yearly.
Hootsuite: under $100 a user, billed yearly
Hootsuite is best for larger teams that already pay per user. Standard is $99, Professional $199 and Advanced $399 per user a month, billed yearly, and Enterprise reads "Contact for pricing". Monthly billing exists, but Hootsuite's plans page shows no monthly price.
The inbox starts on Standard, and Professional adds automated inbox replies.
Where each bill crosses $50 and $100 a month
Of the sums below, Buffer gives the lowest bill at four accounts and one login, while BetterSocials Team gives the lowest at 12 accounts and four logins.

Six accounts, one login: Buffer and Sendible Core tie at $30 a month billed yearly. BetterSocials Pro is $39 billed yearly, and SocialBee Accelerate is $49 x 0.84 = $41.16. Month to month, Sendible is $35, Buffer is 6 x $6 = $36, and BetterSocials Pro and SocialBee Accelerate are $49 each.
Twelve accounts, four logins: BetterSocials Team is $79 a month billed yearly, or $99 monthly. Buffer Team is 12 x $10 = $120 billed yearly, or 12 x $12 = $144 monthly. Agorapulse Standard is 4 x $79 = $316, Hootsuite Standard 4 x $99 = $396 and Sprout Social Standard 4 x $199 = $796, all billed yearly.
