How to get AI drafts for every comment and approve in bulk

Draft for me in BetterSocials writes a reply in your voice to every new comment, keyword or not, and nothing posts until you send it with Approve in bulk.

Yes, you can have AI draft a reply to every new comment and approve the drafts in batches. BetterSocials does it with a setting called Draft for me, which writes a reply in your voice the moment a comment lands, keyword or not, and posts nothing until you approve it. It's best for one owner or a small team answering comments across six platforms at a flat price. Agorapulse lists AI reply suggestions and bulk inbox management for larger teams, and Meta Business Suite sends free keyword templates on Instagram and Facebook.

The draft-and-approve queue, treated as an ops workflow

BetterSocials splits the job into three parts, and we're treating them the way an operator treats any queue: a source, a holding area and a release step. Our angle is the setup itself, with the steps written out so you can build it this week.

Draft for me is the source. It's in Settings, then AI voice, and writes a draft for every new comment as it arrives. Needs reply is the holding area, the Inbox view where drafts and open questions wait. Approve in bulk is the release step. It sends the comment drafts you checked, together, in one action.

You stay in charge at the release step. Nothing on Draft for me goes out until you approve it, so the AI does the typing and you decide what's published.

Why keyword rules leave most comments unanswered

Meta Business Suite's keyword automations answer only the comments that contain a word you picked in advance. Per Meta's help page on keyword automations, each automation holds up to five keywords or phrases, and "keywords are case-sensitive, and an automated message will not be sent unless the keywords match exactly." The reply is a fixed template you write, with no AI drafting.

The same page says Inbox "will automatically send a keyword automation to a message after 15 minutes unless you personally respond before then." Setup is desktop only.

ManyChat's comment replies are keyword or flow-builder triggered. Its AI Comments feature works on Instagram only and is in beta. A keyword trigger in either tool answers only the comments you predicted.

Questions, objections and brand inquiries rarely contain your keyword. Draft for me in BetterSocials writes a reply for every new comment, keyword or not. Reply in my voice, the setting after it, answers everyday comments like compliments on its own.

Running the review queue each day

BetterSocials puts every comment and DM from your connected accounts in one Inbox, and the daily routine runs out of its Needs reply view. These are the steps once Draft for me is on.

  1. Open the Inbox and go to Needs reply. Each new comment already has a draft under it, written from your voice profile and your AI rules.
  2. Read the drafts. Edit any that miss, or write your own reply in their place.
  3. Check the comment drafts you're happy with.
  4. Send them together with Approve in bulk.
  5. Open each DM conversation that has a draft and send it there. DM drafts are sent one at a time.

Two kinds of message get no AI reply at all. Instagram story replies and voice notes land in the Inbox as DMs with a plain label, such as "Replied to your story," and you answer those yourself.

Every new comment and DM also gets a tag when it arrives: Lead, Spam, Support, Comment to DM or Archived. Lead detection is free and on by default. A new lead sends a push notification to the owner's phone, so the buying questions don't wait for the next review pass.

When your AI rules don't cover what someone asked, such as a price or an order detail, the AI doesn't guess. That comment waits for you in Needs reply.

Platform limits to plan around

BetterSocials drafts comment replies on six platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and LinkedIn Company Pages. The DM side covers Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Each platform sets its own rules, and they apply to every tool on the official APIs.

  • YouTube has no DM API for any tool, so YouTube is comments and public replies only.
  • TikTok DMs are reply-only. You get at most 10 replies within 48 hours of the person's last message, and the account must be a Business account.
  • TikTok only lets apps answer DMs for accounts outside the UK and Europe, so AI DM replies follow that line too.
  • Instagram only lets a business reply to a DM within 24 hours of the person's last message. After that, the conversation is closed until they write again, and you can still answer in the Instagram app.
  • LinkedIn personal profiles are posting and analytics only. LinkedIn doesn't let any app read a personal profile's comments or messages, so connect a Company Page if you want LinkedIn comments answered.

Public comment replies have no time limit.

Keywords and AI drafts, side by side

BetterSocials runs keyword automations and AI replies as two separate features, and you can switch both on at once. A keyword fires when a comment contains the word you picked, such as GUIDE, and sends the reply you wrote. On Instagram and Facebook it also sends the person a DM with your link.

On TikTok, YouTube, Threads and LinkedIn Company Pages, no tool can turn a comment into a private DM. There the keyword posts a public reply with your link instead. Keywords are unlimited on every plan, with no flow builder.

AI replies cover everything the keyword doesn't match. In practice, the keyword handles the link offer you announced in the caption, and Draft for me handles every other comment. If you're building the keyword half first, our walkthrough on how to set up "comment LINK and I'll DM you" on Instagram in 2026 has the steps.

Five tools compared on drafts and bulk approval

BetterSocials, Agorapulse, Hootsuite, ManyChat and Meta Business Suite all touch comment replies, but they draft and release replies in different ways. Prices below are as of October 2026.

ToolBest forReply draftingRelease step
BetterSocialsOwners answering six platformsAI draft for every new commentApprove in bulk from Needs reply
AgorapulseTeams moderating many profilesAI reply suggestions in the inboxBulk inbox management and assignments
ManyChatInstagram flows plus WhatsApp and SMSAI Comments, Instagram only, betaKeyword or flow-builder triggers
Meta Business SuiteFree keyword replies on MetaFixed template you writeSends after 15 minutes unanswered

Meta Business Suite is cheaper than everything here, because it's free. What the money buys elsewhere is AI drafting on comments the keyword never matched, and coverage past Meta's own apps.

Agorapulse is the pick for a team that needs assignment, reply collision detection and moderation rules across many profiles. Its pricing page lists AI reply suggestions and bulk inbox management. Hootsuite includes its inbox from Standard at $99 per user a month, billed annually, which suits a team already publishing there.

ManyChat Pro is $39 a month with 2,500 active contacts, billed monthly. It's the pick for multi-step flows and channels like WhatsApp, SMS and Telegram, and it has no YouTube support. Other tools draft with AI too. CommentShark does YouTube with voice-trained AI, for one.

BetterSocials Creator is $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, for four accounts and one login. What it adds at that price is the combination in one inbox: comments on six platforms, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok DMs, keyword comment-to-DM, and drafts in your voice, with unlimited contacts. Scheduler pricing for this is in AI reply suggestions in a social media scheduler: what they cost in 2026.

What the drafts cost per month

BetterSocials charges one AI credit for each draft or AI reply, comment or DM, and spam is skipped. The credits come with the plan.

  • Creator is $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, for four accounts and 1,000 AI credits a month.
  • Pro is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for six accounts and 2,000 AI credits a month.
  • Team is $99 a month, or $79 billed yearly, for twelve accounts, unlimited teammates and 4,000 shared AI credits a month.

The worked sum is simple. 1,000 credits divided by 30 days is about 33 drafted replies a day on Creator. Pro's 2,000 credits come to about 66 a day, and Team's 4,000 to about 133 a day, spread across every connected account.

When credits run out, the AI pauses. It never charges more on its own, so a viral week can't produce a surprise bill. Contacts, DMs, comments and keyword automations are unlimited on every plan, and nothing is billed per contact.

Your setup checklist for this week

BetterSocials setup takes about ten minutes, and it fits in three steps.

  1. Connect your accounts at Connected Accounts in the sidebar. You sign in on each platform's own screen, and every comment lands in one Inbox.
  2. Open Settings, then AI voice. Paste a handful of replies you've written into the Your voice box, and write your prices, hours and booking link as AI rules. Then set Comments to Draft for me.
  3. Open Needs reply, check the drafts and send them with Approve in bulk.

Run it on Draft for me for the first week. Once the drafts read right, you can move Comments to Reply in my voice so everyday comments go out 1 to 5 minutes after they land. Leave Answer questions too off until your AI rules cover the questions you get.

Answer every comment and the people asking hear back while they still care. Leave the pile and they move on to an account that answered. Every BetterSocials plan has a 7-day free trial with a card required, which starts from its pricing page, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first paid charge.

FAQ

Can AI auto reply to every comment on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube?

Yes. In BetterSocials, comments from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and LinkedIn Company Pages land in one Inbox. With Reply in my voice on, everyday comments like compliments get an answer under the comment 1 to 5 minutes after they land. Questions wait in Needs reply unless you turn on Answer questions too.

Can I approve AI-drafted comment replies in bulk?

Yes. In BetterSocials, turn on Draft for me in Settings, then AI voice, and every new comment gets a draft in your voice the moment it arrives. Nothing posts until you approve it. In Needs reply you send comment drafts one at a time or as a batch with Approve in bulk, and DM drafts go one at a time.

How is an AI reply to every comment different from a keyword auto-reply?

A keyword auto-reply in BetterSocials only fires when a comment contains the word you picked, such as GUIDE, and sends the reply you wrote. AI replies draft an answer for every new comment, keyword or not, in your voice. You can run both, with the keyword sending the link and the AI covering the rest.

Will the AI post a reply without my approval?

Only if you let it. On Draft for me, BetterSocials posts nothing until you approve it. On Reply in my voice, everyday comments go out on their own, and questions wait for you unless you turn on Answer questions too, which only turns on after you write at least one AI rule.

How much does it cost to have AI draft a reply to every comment?

Each BetterSocials draft uses 1 AI credit, and spam is skipped. Creator is $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, for four accounts and 1,000 credits, and Pro is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for six accounts and 2,000 credits. When credits run out, the AI pauses and never charges more on its own.

Does the AI draft replies to DMs as well as comments?

Yes. BetterSocials AI replies has a separate DMs section with the same three settings: Off, Draft for me and Reply in my voice. It covers Instagram, Facebook and TikTok DMs, with TikTok limited to accounts outside the UK and Europe. DM drafts are sent one at a time, and story replies and voice notes get no AI reply.
